

Yemi Akinyemi is a Czech-Nigerian serial entrepreneur and multidisciplinary creative force with over two decades of experience across entertainment, arts, and technology, driven by a commitment to social innovation and youth empowerment. He was selected to join SpaceX’s dearMoon mission, the world’s first civilian lunar orbit journey.
He is the founder of Moonshot Platform Inc., a U.S. based nonprofit that supports the next generation of changemakers in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Yemi’s creative collaboration with the late Virgil Abloh, Creative Director of Louis Vuitton, produced some of the most iconic moments in contemporary culture, including the VMAs, Runaway, Saturday Night Live, and The Yeezus Tour.
As a Henry Crown Fellow with the Aspen Institute, he speaks on youth-led change, creativity, and space exploration. In 2022, Yemi received a Silver Medal from the Czech Senate for his contributions to social innovation. He serves on the boards of PSYRES, advancing psychedelic research, and Space for Humanity, a nonprofit that empowers purpose-driven leaders through sponsored spaceflights.
