Nunke Kadimo, a proud San woman, was born in Namibia along the Okavango River near the Angolan border. Her upbringing was shaped by her father, a skilled tracker and former soldier. In 1989, amidst conflict, her family became refugees, settling in a tented camp in Smidssdrift on the Orange River before relocating to Platfontein near Kimberley. At !Khwa ttu, a San Culture and Education Centre on the West Coast, Nunke found her calling. After excelling in training, she now shines as a passionate tour guide and ambassador for the San people. Nunke’s love for poetry and storytelling enriches her role, captivating all who cross her path.
