Liubov Abravitova

Liubov Abravitova is the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of South Africa, Mozambique, and Botswana.

Her journey in this role was preceded by her appointment as Counsellor at the Embassy of Ukraine in Pretoria, which she assumed in January 2017. Before this, she distinguished herself as the Counsellor of the Middle East and Africa Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Abravitova’s role with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine started in March 2003. Over the course of her career, she has undertaken assignments in various international locations, including Ottawa (Canada), Brussels (Belgium), and Geneva (Switzerland). During her time in Belgium, she fulfilled the role of vice-consul, overseeing responsibilities for Belgium and Luxembourg. From 2007 to 2009, she served as the press attach√© for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
