Dominique Botha is an award-winning novelist and poet. Her 2013 debut novel, False River, was the winner of the University of Johannesburg Debut Prize, the Eugène Marais Prize, and the Jan Rabie-Rapport Prize and in 2023, her collection of poetry, Bloodwood, won the coveted Ingrid Jonker prize.
Dominique is a member of the Pirogue Collective and serves on the board of the Africa Centre and Yellowwoods Arts Trust, organisations that promote and support artistic endeavours in a broad range of fields.
